Placing an investment
How do investors commit into investing into asset?
An investment represents an investor's commitment to purchase a specific amount of your asset tokens on the primary market. It tracks the complete journey from initial commitment through payment confirmation to final token distribution.
Each investment record combines four key elements: the investor, the asset they're purchasing, the token amount, and the destination wallet for distribution.

Investor is active and has verified status
Investor is included in the asset's whitelist
Investor has at least one active verified wallet attached
Asset is issued on-chain and active
Sufficient tokens in treasury
Confirming an investment
Depending on your workflow requirements, you can use either a single-step or multi-step investment process:
Multi-step approach:
Create the investment record (status: Reserved)
Complete required steps such as payment processing and agreement signing
Confirm the investment (status: Confirmed)
Single-step approach: Create investments directly in confirmed status if you only enter data after all requirements are fulfilled.
Only confirmed investments can proceed to token distribution, giving you control over the timing and conditions for completing transactions.
